No, not the drug, the movie! I just got back from seeing it today and I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in the theaters in a long time.
The plot is that Jason Statham is a hitman for a West Coast crime syndicate. He wakes up one morning to find that he can't see straight and his chest hurts. Watching a DVD that was left on his TV he discovers that a young Turk in the group has given him the "Beijing Cocktail" which cuts off of his adrenal gland and will eventually stop his heart. The only way to keep alive is to keep moving.
Now, if this premise sounded silly to you that is because it is. However it is the execution that is so great. Crank redefines high energy in a bombastic style that will get your heart pumping. Chock full of violence with a dash of nudity, Crank is the kind of movie that just isn't made anymore (if it ever was in the first place.)
